LOCUST BEAN GUM

NATURALLY PERFECT FOR

As well as the cereal line, we also produce locust bean gum in a separate complex. Known technically as E410, it is a natural additive extracted from the seeds contained in the pods of the carob, a centuries-old tree that is widely found throughout the Mediterranean. Our locust bean gum is produced only with select fruits and a thermal-mechanical process that respects the environment. Due to its properties as a natural thickener, emulsifier, gelling agent and stabiliser, it is the perfect product for the food industry.
