Spiganera Organic wholemeal Timilia flour
Obtained from organic stone-milled Timilia durum wheat, this flour comes from a variety of ancient Sicilian grains with late sowing and extremely resistant to the torrid climate of Sicily, already appreciated in ancient Greece and described by Goethe in his “Journey to Sicily” of 1789.
Timilia is the basic ingredient of the famous Castelvetrano black bread. In recent years, this intensely flavored grain has been used in the production of craft beer.
